Harper's First Birthday Party

Harper's 1st Birthday Party was today and we had a blast! It was a little wild, but we really had a good time. She ate her WHOLE cupcake including the crumbs under her high chair!
Eve and Mae gave her are great card that plays music when you open it. After everyone had gone home, Harper played with the card for a long time and she was hilarious. At first she just "felt the beat" a little (see 1st video), but then she started doing her own version of breakdancing (see 2nd video). We were laughing so hard.

Harper's New Wagon

Harper got a wagon for her birthday. We were going to give it to her at her birthday party on Sunday, but it was beautiful today and we thought she would get better use of it today while it wasn't cold. She was pretty excited about her new ride!

Hair

We are really jealous of Asher Cole's hair. Why is it that boys always have the good hair?!? Here is on of his bath shots from the weekend that made us laugh. He is only 7 months and has more hair than Harper will have a 3 years old!!!

Charleston

This past weekend we went to visit Kali, Scott, and Asher in Charleston. It was wonderful to catch up with friends, and I loved seeing a new city. On Saturday we went to the beach, and on Sunday we toured Downtown Charleston by carriage. It was really a great weekend (minus the stomach bug I got on Sunday). Harper and Asher seemed to keep each other entertained, especially when taking baths in their double sink. Here are a few pictures.

Snow

We had our first snow of the season yesterday and Harper had a good time trying to grab the snowflakes. We didn't really get enough to stick, but it was fun while it lasted.

Yep..Harper HATED Santa!!!

We took Harper to see the Legendary Santa at the Children's Museum, and she was TERRIFIED!!! Oh well. So much for the cute picture with Santa.

Williamsburg

Mom, Dad, Harper and I went to Williamsburg yesterday and we found a great "picture tree". I feel like Bradley and I always had to take pictures in trees when we were kids and now we've started the tradition with Harper. Here are a couple of her shots.

Halloween

Tonight was lots of fun. Harper was a monkey, Watson was a pea pod, and Eve and Mae were China Dolls.

Harper's Friends

Saturday night Harper went to play with her friends, Eve and Mae, while Chris and I went to a movie. Here's a cute picture of them having fun on the couch.

Hi Everyone

I couldn't decide between these two clips. I wanted Harper to wave, but in the first clip she had a lot to say and I thought I shouldn't exclude it.

Playgroup

Here is a picture from playgroup on Wednesday. A few of the kids knew to smile immediately when the camera came out. They are so funny.

A fun weekend

I admit I've been a little slow with the posts recently, but I promise to get better. Our friend, Hatch, celebrated his birthday on Friday night and Harper wore her Halloween costume.

On Sunday we went out to eat after church and decided to sit outside. It was a little sunny so Harper borrowed my sunglasses.

Pumpkin Patch Round 1

We went to the pumpkin patch last Friday and I took my camera. Here in Richmond the chipmunks eat your pumpkins so we'll have to go back several times. Here are pictures from the first time. Harper had fun playing in the hay. Good thing she doesn't have bad allergies.

Vacation is over :(

Well...our long awaited vacation is over, but we had a great time. We spent the first few days with Chris's family at Callaway Gardens and spend the next few days at Rosemary Beach with my parent. I've put up some pictures from the vacation. The first ones are from the Butterfly House at Callaway and the rest are at the beach. Harper was scared of the water the first 2 days, but then she got brave. The water was absolutely gorgeous.

We went to the Children's Museum today and Harper mastered driving. She wants to try for her permit next week. She also got her face painted for the first time.

We spent the morning making a card for Jerome. It was quite and effort to get a picture.

Harper would only crawl a tiny bit before today, but she's got it now.

Bed Head

It's hard to say that Harper has bedhead when she only has a tiny bit of hair, but here is her best shot at it. (It's the wildness above her ear...in case you missed it.) I spent the better part of the day yesterday trying to figure out how to put video on here, but I can't get the computer to recognize my videocamera it plugged in. I promise I'm working on it!

On Board

Well, I guess I'm getting on board with the blogging thing. All my friends have blogs now and I'm feeling a little left out. Chris is going to D.C. for the weekend to hang out with Collin Brown and Jeff Murray, so I figure I'll have some time to figure this thing out.
