Chicago

Sadly, we don't have many pictures from our trip to Chicago this past weekend. It was cold and rainy, and since Harper and I spent most of our days shopping while Chris was at his conference, there wasn't a whole lot to take pictures of. We did get this funny picture of Harper eating Chicago style pizza. It seems like every meal she puts her hands in her hair (which makes me crazy) but this meal was particularly messy. No, that's not blood on her head, it's tomato:) Sometimes it's really hard not to laugh at your child when they are being bad.

Easter

We had a great Easter weekend. The Kennedys came over on Saturday to hunt eggs which was a blast. On Sunday afternoon, we went over the the Walkers for a fabulous Easter Dinner. Here are some pictures from both.

BeeBee and Granddaddy

Last week my parents were in Richmond and that means LOTS of pictures. I tend to forget to take my camera places, but when my parents are here they remind me. I guess purple must be Harper's favorite color, because she didn't even notice ALL the yellow flowers around her. She only wanted to play with the little purple ones.

Bruster's Ice Cream is Harper's new favorite place. Her favorite part is the cone which makes for some MESSY eating! We have to remind her to take a bite of the ice cream every now and then before it falls in her lap. That too is a messy endeavor since by that time there is a huge whole in the bottom of the cone.
BeeBee and Granddaddy gave Harper a stroller for her babies and she loves it. She likes being a little mommy.
These pictures are from her gymnastics class. Some of you have wondered what a 15 month old does at gymnastics, so here are some pictures. I would like to note that Harper's figure doesn't lend itself to tucked in shirts very well, but they work best for gymnastics. Mom can't stand it, but otherwise her shirt ends up around her head.

Bubble Bath

Chris always puts LOTS of bubble in Harper's bath, and tonight she looked like Santa with white hair and a beard. Here's a video clip, "ho ho ho" and all.

Has it been a whole month?

Sorry that I let a whole month slip by without posting. I get really upset when I keep checking the blogs I check and there haven't been any postings. Here are some pictures of Miss Priss from February.

A Day of Play

Harper has been BUSY today. The weather has been beautiful the last 2 days and it has really improved our moods. This morning we started out on a journey to the gym, but it was too nice so we went to the park instead. It's so fun to go to the playground now that she can walk. She likes doing the slide all by herself and it's so cute to see her get all excited.




This afternoon we had playgroup and I took a couple of pictures. This is Harper's silly face. She likes to scrunch up her nose.
The girls love playing in the kitchen. I don't think they know what they're doing in there, but they have a great time anyway.

Going to Work with Daddy

Recently, Harper has been really sad when Chris has left for work. This morning she pulled down one of Chris's ties and was hanging out near the door. I guess she was hoping she'd get to be a little doctor today.
