Walking

I took some video of Harper walking tonight. She's been taking a few steps here and there, but I haven't been able to capture them on video. She was walking enough tonight for me to tape. The video is grainy because there wasn't much light in the room.

Christmas

Christmas was a little different for us this year because Chris' dad was in the hospital, as was my grandmother. We spent a pretty good amount of time in hospitals, but Harper didn't seem to mind. She had a great week. Everywhere we went people gave her birthday AND Christmas presents. Here are a few pictures.
This is from Harper's Tea Party at Boop and Gann's house. Gann gave Harper a silver tea set to be used on her birthday every year and this year we had our tea party at Gann's house.

On Christmas Eve, Harper got to Santa's cookies before we could stop her. She knocked over Santa's milk and ate all his cookies. She's lucky Santa still brought her presents since he didn't have any goodies.
These are from Christmas morning. I don't know why they're so small. Harper really enjoyed her presents and like emptying her stocking.

Harper's First Birthday Party

Harper's 1st Birthday Party was today and we had a blast! It was a little wild, but we really had a good time. She ate her WHOLE cupcake including the crumbs under her high chair!
Eve and Mae gave her are great card that plays music when you open it. After everyone had gone home, Harper played with the card for a long time and she was hilarious. At first she just "felt the beat" a little (see 1st video), but then she started doing her own version of breakdancing (see 2nd video). We were laughing so hard.

Harper's New Wagon

Harper got a wagon for her birthday. We were going to give it to her at her birthday party on Sunday, but it was beautiful today and we thought she would get better use of it today while it wasn't cold. She was pretty excited about her new ride!

Hair

We are really jealous of Asher Cole's hair. Why is it that boys always have the good hair?!? Here is on of his bath shots from the weekend that made us laugh. He is only 7 months and has more hair than Harper will have a 3 years old!!!

Charleston

This past weekend we went to visit Kali, Scott, and Asher in Charleston. It was wonderful to catch up with friends, and I loved seeing a new city. On Saturday we went to the beach, and on Sunday we toured Downtown Charleston by carriage. It was really a great weekend (minus the stomach bug I got on Sunday). Harper and Asher seemed to keep each other entertained, especially when taking baths in their double sink. Here are a few pictures.

Snow

We had our first snow of the season yesterday and Harper had a good time trying to grab the snowflakes. We didn't really get enough to stick, but it was fun while it lasted.
